Founded in Chicago in 1923, Golden Gloves of America is the nation’s premier amateur boxing organization. Its franchises stage regional tournaments each season that culminate in the National Tournament of Champions; alumni include Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Mike Tyson.
