Sanctioned by USA Boxing
Golden Gloves tournaments are sanctioned by USA Boxing, the national governing body for Olympic-style boxing. Boxers, coaches and officials hold USA Boxing membership, and bouts follow USA Boxing rules with the modifications above.
Who decides
Golden Gloves of America, Inc. is governed by a board of directors drawn from the franchises, with elected officers, athlete representatives and an independent legal advisor. Officials are represented by NOGGOA, the National Organization of Golden Gloves Officials of America.
