Golden Gloves of America names PXL8 Official Technology and Digital Media Partner

Golden Gloves of America and PXL8 Technology Inc. today announced a partnership naming PXL8 the Official Technology and Digital Media Partner of Golden Gloves of America.

Since 1923, Golden Gloves has been where American boxers are made. Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Mike Tyson all came through its rings, and today more than 6,500 athletes compete each year across more than 30 regional franchises on the road to the National Tournament of Champions.

Under the partnership, Golden Gloves comes to HYPD, PXL8's live event engagement app for combat sports. Fans can follow Golden Gloves events in the app, watch highlights from tournaments across the country, and back the boxers they believe in. Every boxer, from a first regional bout to the Tournament of Champions, gets a home in the app where their story lives. National Golden Gloves events will be promoted as "Powered by PXL8."

For Golden Gloves, the partnership brings a professional content engine and a national digital home. PXL8 will work inside the organization's franchise network to produce editorial and documentary coverage of its athletes and events, operate the Golden Gloves channel on HYPD, and connect the organization with the younger, digitally native generation its next boxers come from, opening new digital revenue streams for Golden Gloves and its athletes. PXL8 will also lend its technology expertise as Golden Gloves modernizes how it runs and presents its competitions nationwide. The partnership includes a financial commitment from PXL8 to support Golden Gloves' operations and athlete development, with a focus on underserved athletes.
